building confidence through

consistently showing up for yourself

Introducing Katie

As a personal trainer/ online coach for 5 + years, I’ve helped women of all ages and backgrounds build confidence through structured training, nutrition and sustainable habits.

I coach to empower women to create lasting psychological change, fall in love with the process and build confidence across all areas of life.

I believe that every woman's journey is unique, and no matter your circumstances, there is a fitness goal that is both meaningful and achievable for you. At Katie Ryan Coaching, my focus is on helping women build confidence by setting realistic, sustainable goals that fit their individual lifestyles.

True confidence is built by consistently showing up for yourself, celebrating progress, and proving that you can follow through on the promises you make to yourself.

Whatever your goal may be, I'm here to help you achieve it in a way that works for your life x

get to know me

As a competitive swimmer throughout my teenage years, I learned early what discipline and drive really meant. When an ACL injury forced me to step away, I found myself lost spending years in a binge-restrict cycle with food, not fully understanding the toll it was taking on my mental and physical health.

Dropping out of college turned out to be one of the most pivotal moments of my life. I threw myself into learning everything I could about nutrition and training, and slowly, my relationship with food began to heal. I started reading, reflecting, and genuinely investing in who I was becoming and somewhere in that process, I realised my passion had been in front of me all along. I went back to study Exercise Science at WIT and never looked back.

Through bodybuilding, my mindset shifted from chasing skinny to building strong. My journey has been anything but linear. I've made mistakes, taken wrong turns, and had to learn the hard way more than once. But showing up for myself consistently has built a confidence in me I never expected, both as an athlete and as a coach.

Now, the thing that drives me most is being able to support other women who are on their own version of this path — finding their strength, rebuilding their relationship with their body, and becoming the very best version of themselves.
